Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, ActingCommander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police Monitors School Safety Efforts at Start of New Academic Year

His Excellency Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Ras
Al Khaimah Police, conducted a field inspection at the beginning of the new school
year, visiting Awafi Educational Complex. Accompanied by Brigadier Ahmed Al
Sam Al Naqbi, Director General of Central Operations, and several officers, they
were welcomed by Hayat Al Shehhi, Director of the Educational Complex, and
Ahmed Al Shehhi, Director of the School Operations Department at the Ras Al
Khaimah Educational Zone. Brigadier Jamal Al Tair extended his congratulations to
the administrative staff, educators, and students on the commencement of the school
year. He reaffirmed Ras Al Khaimah Police’s commitment to ensuring a successful
academic year by bolstering security measures and increasing police presence around
key schools to maintain student safety and facilitate smooth traffic flow. Highlighting
the importance of student safety, Brigadier Al Tair emphasized that it remains a top
priority for the police, aligning with the Ministry of Interior’s strategic goal to
enhance road safety and safeguard the well-being of the nation’s future generations.
He also underscored the value of ongoing cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah
Police and educational institutions, which is reflected through increased patrols,
traffic management near schools, and awareness programs aimed at raising safety
standards for both students and school staff. During his visit, Brigadier Al Tair
welcomed arriving school buses, personally greeting students and offering his best
wishes for a safe and successful academic year. He also accompanied some students
to their classrooms, reinforcing his support for their well-being. Hayat Al Shehhi,
Director of the Awafi Educational Complex, expressed her gratitude for the consistent
efforts of Ras Al Khaimah Police in ensuring the safety of students. She praised the
police’s unwavering commitment to traffic management around schools, reflecting the
strong partnership between law enforcement and educational institutions, which
serves as a model of community responsibility and security.
