Gunfire heard in Nagorno-Karabakh’s capital: Sources


Gunfire was heard on Thursday in Nagorno-Karabakh’s capital, two sources told Reuters.
The gunfire could be heard in one voice message left by one of the sources. A second source, also in the capital, said that gunfire was heard earlier on Thursday. It was not clear who was shooting.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev declared victory over the mountainous region on Wednesday, saying his “iron fist” had consigned the idea of a separatist Armenian Karabakh to history after a lightning 24-hour military operation.
