Niger army declares allegiance to leaders who overthrew President Mohamed Bazoum
Niger’s army has declared allegiance to the defense and security forces that overthrew President Mohamed Bazoum on Wednesday, in order to avoid fighting within the armed forces, it said in a statement on Thursday signed by the army chief of staff.
