Al-Shabaab extremists kill five civilians in Kenya, some by beheading: Police source


Al-Shabaab extremists have killed five civilians, some by beheading, in eastern Kenya, a witness and a police source told AFP on Sunday.

“There was an attack last night in Lamu (county) and five people were killed,” the police source said. “The victims were slashed and there are others who were beheaded.” A witness confirmed the account.
