ABU DHABI, 22nd June, 2023 (WAM) — Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, has received Henry Okello Oryem, Ugandan State Minister for Foreign Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi.
During the visit, the two sides commended the close bilateral relations between the UAE and Uganda and discussed prospects for cooperation and opportunities to build new partnerships in various fields.
The ministers also exchanged views on regional issues of common interest, stressing the importance of unifying efforts to achieve regional security, stability and prosperity.
This visit reflects the close relations between the UAE and Uganda and the keenness to strengthen and develop them to serve the common interests of the two countries and peoples.
