35 years after its last appearance, the Puy de Dôme returns to the route of the 2023 Tour de France. The giant dormant volcano will be the 9th stage of the grand race. Some of the riders were allowed to climb this World Heritage site during a one-off reconnaissance: Necessary training to prepare for this year's particularly difficult race.
