MOSCOW, 1st June, 2023 (WAM) — A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck near the eastern coast of the Russian Kamchatka Peninsula early Thursday, according to the Geophysical Survey of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
In a statement, the office said that the earthquake's epicentre was at a depth of 46.3 kilometres and 385 kilometres away from the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
No information has been reported regarding damages or injuries caused by the earthquake.
