ABU DHABI, 10th May, 2023 (WAM) – Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD)'s Undersecretary, Counselor Youssef Saeed Al-Abri, met with Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar to discuss strengthening the strategic partnership between the two entities.
The meeting aims to develop services related to complaints and labour cases, ensuring prompt justice and the fulfilment of all parties' rights.
The meeting explored opportunities for cooperation between the two entities, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the ADJD.
This is part of the effort to continue development and consolidate relations with competent authorities, contribute to the comprehensive development of the services system and anchor the UAE's competitive position globally.
Al-Abri highlighted that the Judicial Department is keen on modernising continuous work mechanisms in the Labour Court and adopting advanced practices to enhance the protection of labour rights across various economic sectors. The UAE's wise leadership has shown attention to labourers as partners in production and development while ensuring the interests of business owners, leading to a stable labour market and encouraging investments in a pioneering legislative and judicial system that upholds justice and the rule of law.
He appreciated the fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, which has facilitated procedures for referring labour disputes that cannot be resolved amicably to the specialised courts. These disputes can now be settled in short periods through quick steps to fulfil rights and obtain dues following the Labour Relations Regulation Act.
