SHARJAH, 2nd May, 2023 (WAM) — The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) is taking part in the 14th Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF), which begins on Wednesday and goes until the 14th of this month and is coordinated by the Sharjah Book Authority.
Many private schools under the authority's umbrella are participating in the festival, which aligns with the authority's goals of promoting and disseminating a reading and literacy culture in various human knowledge and sciences as well as instilling it in students.
The 14th Sharjah Children's Reading Festival is held at the Sharjah Expo Centre for 12 days, allowing visitors the chance to engage in and attend 1,658 varied cultural, creative, and artistic events.
These activities are given by 512 visitors from 66 countries, with 141 publishing firms participating, including 93 Arab publishing houses and 48 international publishing houses.
