French authorities raid five banks in tax fraud case  


French investigators raided five banks on Tuesday as part of a probe into suspected tax fraud, the financial prosecutor’s office said.

Some 150 investigators, along with six German prosecutors, conducted searches in and around Paris, the office said in a statement, in a case suspected of having cost governments more than 100 billion euros ($108 billion).
