ABU DHABI, 22nd February, 2023 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, visited the 16th edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), and the 7th Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) until 24th February, 2023.
Sheikh Ammar visited several national, Arab and foreign pavilions, met with the representatives of several countries and explored the advanced products they are showcasing.
Under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the UAE has become a global centre for shaping the world’s future in many sectors, he said, noting that IDEX and NAVDEX are international platforms for showcasing recent defence industry products and technologies.
He then commended the development witnessed by national defence and military companies, enabling them to compete globally.
Sheikh Ammar was accompanied by a number of Sheikhs and senior local officials.
