SHARJAH, 6th February, 2023 (WAM) – Sheikha Nawar Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Art Foundation, affirmed that the 15th edition of Sharjah Biennial will host 150 artists to present 300 works of art from7th February to 11th June,2023.
Sheikha Nawar Al Qasimi stated that the Sharjah Biennial will take place in 19 sites in the Emirate of Sharjah, Khorfakkan, Kalba, Al Hamriyah, and Al Dhaid.
In statements to "Sharjah 24", she said that the Biennale will be launched under the slogan "History is Present" including exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and musical programmes, noting that there will be 70 works especially prepared for the Biennale, in addition to works from all over the world, calling the public to join these free of charge events.
