ABU DHABI, 6th January, 2023 (WAM) — The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation inaugurated Harib General Hospital in Ma'rib Governorate, Yemen, and provided it with assistance and equipment, to enable the hospital to support the health sector and provide distinguished services to the Yemeni people.
The initiative to assist the hospital is due to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Foundation.
The initiative will play a key role in improving the quality of local healthcare services, as part of the efforts of the foundation in Yemen and its support for the country’s health sector, through restoring hospitals, equipping them with health supplies, and providing them with medical staff.
Nader Abdul Rahman Al Mulla, Representative of the Foundation, met with officials from local authorities and the directorate’s health office, as well as the director of Harib General Hospital.
Local authorities in Harib District expressed their appreciation for the support of the UAE and the foundation.
