An 18-year-old Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli forces on Wednesday during clashes near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian health ministry said.

Thaer Khalim Muslet al-Yazouri, 18, was shot in the heart in Al-Bireh, the ministry said. An Israeli army spokesperson told AFP that troops “fired rubber bullets” during unrest in the area.
