The French oil giant TotalEnergies will stop buying oil products from Russia by the end of this year, after facing criticism over its inaction following the invasion of Ukraine. The company will, however, continue buying Russian gas. CEO Patrick Pouyanné told RTL radio the move would not put the future of the firm at risk. Also today, a further complication for oil supplies, as Russia cuts flows through a pipeline from Kazakhstan to repair damaged equipment.
