India logs 238,018 new COVID-19 infections

NEW DELHI, 18th January, 2022 (WAM) — India saw a 238,018 rise in COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 37.62 million.

According to the health ministry, the death toll in the country reached 486,761 with 310 new fatalities recorded.
