In a special edition, we report on the upcoming Women's World Cup. France hosted the event in 2019 but since then, women's football in this country has failed to gain as much ground as it should have done. This as other nations have zoomed ahead. Annette Young talks to players, including Aston Villa's Kenza Dali, from the French national team and its treasurer, Aline Riera, on what needs to be done to boost the game. She also meets American businessman, Vincent Volpe, the owner of Le Havre football team; the oldest in the country. Volpe has raised eyebrows by making his team the only one in France to allow female and male players to play in the same stadium.
