Dubai Police Hemaya Schools Celebrate 100% Graduation Success Rate  

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the first batch of students from Hemaya Schools for the academic year 2022-2023.

A total of 187 students graduated, with a success rate of 100%. The ceremony was held at the Dubai Police Officers’ Club in the presence of the Commander-in-Chief’s assistants, the directors of the general departments, police stations, and the parents of the students.

The ceremony began with the national anthem, a speech by the graduates, a film review about Hemaya Schools, honouring the graduating students and the sponsors, and capturing group photos with the event’s patron.

Lt.Gen. Al Marri congratulated the students on their graduation, wishing them success and prosperity in their academic and professional lives. He emphasized that Hemaya Schools is one of the initiatives that support the Dubai Police’s strategy in supporting its employees and ensuring their happiness by providing a top-notch education for their children, empowering them, improving their skills, and ensuring their excellence in their educational endeavours.

Lt.Gen. Al Marri mentioned that Hemaya Schools provide advanced educational programmes, the latest skills and technologies, as well as instilling values of loyalty and belonging to the country.

Lt.Gen. Al Marri clarified that the graduation of this batch of students from Hemaya Schools is a proud moment for Dubai Police, with what it has achieved in educational gains for the children of the employees and alleviating the burdens of the police staff, enhancing the principle of belonging, institutional cooperation, employee happiness, and increasing job satisfaction.

His Excellency Major General Dr. Ghaith Al Suwaidi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academic and Training Affairs, stated that the Dubai Police had devoted many of its capabilities to supporting Hemaya Schools by enhancing integration with all sectors, which contributed to making the academic knowledge and skills acquired by the students an added value for this generation.

Meanwhile, Major Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director of the Hamaya Schools Office, mentioned that Hemaya Schools have worked tirelessly to elevate their education system, with support and follow-up from His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri.

During the ceremony, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri honoured the supporters and sponsors, including Bader Said Al Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Group; Ahmad Al Hamiri, CEO of Al Ain Farms; Balvinder Sahni (Abu Sabah), CEO of RSG Group; and Somit Jenna owner of Arma Defences Co.

Notably, the Dubai Police established the Hemaya Schools in 2018 for the children of their employees, both military and civilian, from specific job categories of all nationalities.
