ABU DHABI, 9th May, 2023 (WAM) — The Crisis and Emergency Management Summit – Abu Dhabi 2023 kicked off this morning under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser.
The two-day summit, organised by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), will focus on five main axes and involve many sessions and workshops.
The summit will see the participation of a number of senior officials from national, regional and international entities concerned with security, emergencies and crises management, as well as various experts and specialists from over 11 countries who possess practical and realistic experiences and academic expertise in crisis and disaster management and crisis recovery.
The summit is a global platform for strengthening partnerships and international cooperation, exchanging experiences in emergencies, crises and disasters, and discussing the most prominent global challenges and trends.
