SHARJAH, 5th April, 2023 (WAM) — The session "Creators of Visual Content: Criteria for Success and Reasons for Continuity", was held on Tuesday during the 12th edition of the Ramadan Majlis, organised by the Sharjah Press Club of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau at Al Majaz Amphitheatre.
Jordanian traveller Qassem Al Hato, and Kuwaiti traveller and content creator Lulwa Al Khataf spoke about the criteria for the success of visual content in the second session moderated by journalist Mohammed Al Kaabi. They also discussed what creative elements content creators need to ensure their continuity and achieve mass appeal.
Qassem Al Hato said that making successful content is a concept based on passion and positive balance, stressing that travel content is characterised by the vitality of the experience that goes beyond content creation to reflect the personality of the creator and learning about different cultures.
He pointed out that continuity in creating visual content in particular consists of a mixture of enjoyment and credibility in what is presented to the public. In addition to the importance of professional standards, the way of presentation is also crucial, Al Hato added.
Lulwa Al Khataf also emphasised that reaching the masses on social media platforms comes gradually by providing useful content, and through making the content attractive to the audience, understanding the needs of followers.
She added that awareness of the differences between social media platforms and publishing tools makes content makers more successful in presenting creative material. Al Khataf stresses the need for a motive that will ensure continuity of the content, while highlighting that the content creators need to be flexible in the way they present the content that keeps pace with the variables of digital platforms.
The speakers agreed on the responsibility of content creators, the importance of positively influencing others, and taking into account societal constants and values, with an emphasis on presenting models and experiences that inspire others.
