SHARJAH, 14th March, 2023 (WAM) — The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) announced implementing maintenance works for monuments, fountains and public squares in the Emirate.
The maintenance work includes comprehensive developmental maintenance for 89 fountains and 10 memorials in the parks and squares in the emirate and 4 waterfalls.
It also includes maintenance work in the Aquarium Museum with the aim of preserving the city's appearance and beauty.
Hadef Al-Khidr, Deputy Director of the Building Maintenance Department, indicated that the development work includes mechanical and electrical services, pointing out that memorials are cultural landmarks that hold the spirit of art and the history of the place.
