ABU DHABI, 21st February, 2023 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, today visited the 16th edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX).
During his visit, he toured the pavilions of various countries and companies participating in the exhibition, which is taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 20th to 24th February 2023.
He explored the latest products and innovations in defence and security areas and talked to the pavilions’ organisers to discuss the latest relevant technologies.
Sheikh Hamed also visited the pavilions of Emirati companies and viewed their products in defence and security technologies, commending the significant development witnessed by Emirati defence companies and the growing international confidence in them.
He then highlighted the UAE’s keenness to strengthen this sector, as it is one of the leading supporters of the national economy, lauding the outstanding organisation of the event and the excellence of the Emirati cadres engaged in its hosting.
