ABU DHABI , 13th February, 2023 (WAM) –Mohamed Hamad Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Yemen, met with Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik, Prime Minister of the Republic of Yemen, at Al-Ma’ashiq Palace, following Al Zaabi presenting his credentials to Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed areas of cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Yemen at all levels. They also discussed the latest developments in Yemen and the regional and international efforts to resume the political process and establish a lasting peace.
Dr. Abdulmalik welcomed Ambassador Al Zaabi and wished him success in his work and for the development and strengthening of bilateral relations in various fields, stressing his country's readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his duties.
For his part, Al Zaabi expressed his keenness to enhance bilateral relations in a way that contributes to enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
